We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Chief Engineer to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.Job description:The Chief Engineer must have a broad understanding of evolving technical trends, be able to recommend activities to position us to take advantage of those trends, and be creative in applying trends to meet our customers' mission requirements. The Chief Engineer will advise customers on how to leverage technology and best practices to meet their current and evolving requirements (Cloud, DevSecOps, Agile, ITSM, AI/ML, Advanced Data Analytics). The Chief Engineer must be able to analyze and present alternative system design concepts and work with engineering teams to identify, integrate and deliver COTS technical solutions using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques. Requirements * Master's degree and 10 years overall experience with 7 years of experience in the implementation of DoD enterprise IT program(s)* Secret Clearance* Per DODM 5200.02 , as an IT-1 position, requires ability to receive a favorable adjudication of SSBI or SSBI-PR.* IAM level 3 (per DoD 8570)* Familiarity with DoD 5000.x * Familiarity with enterprise architecture, principally DoDAF, artifacts.* Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and provide concise analysis* Ability to work within small groups and brief findings to senior personnel* Excellent command of oral and written English language* Ability to write complex reports in a clear and precise fashion* Supports all phases of system development and review, particularly COTS-based technical solutions.* Verifies that the design is properly built and integrated, and post-implementation assessment of how well the system meets the goals* Performs ongoing Risk Analysis * Ability to direct technical resources a must About Unisys Do you have what it takes to be mission critical?
