Job Description Description SAIC is seeking experienced professionals to join the National Security Customer Group (NSCG). NSCG provides specialized program management, engineering, analysis and operations support to a variety of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. We support the generation after next of national security-related systems based in space, in the air and on the ground. NSCG has an opening to provide Program Protection Engineering as Systems Engineering and Technical Advisor (SETA) technical advisory services for exciting new missions for a Government Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The customer is developing the next-generation of space and ground systems architectures, hardware and software solutions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Perform comprehensive protection engineering risk assessments for programs and customer Enterprise activities * Plan and organize multi-discipline working groups to identify and define critical program information (CPI) * Develop and maintain the program protection baseline for CPIs and associated components * Recommend approaches to minimize observable security risks during the program lifecycle * Evaluate supply chain risks and recommend countermeasures * Evaluate anti-tamper designs and procedures to reduce program risk * Analyze threat assessments to identify system vulnerabilities and recommend countermeasures * Recommend countermeasures that reduce exposure potential for each phase of the acquisition lifecycle * Serve as a liaison between traditional security and engineering to ensure harmony of security objectives and program development activities * Generate and update program protection plans, instructions, and procedures * Audit and recommend improvements to development contractor program protection plans and procedures * Develop and conduct program protection training to Government and contractor workforces Qualifications * Active TS/SCI with Poly * Bachelor degree in engineering, science, or related disciplines * Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor degree, at least 3 years of related experience with a Master degree, or a PhD/JD * Demonstrated experience developing program protection plans and procedures for the Government or industry * Demonstrated experience in an engineering discipline or program security * Demonstrated experience in writing plans, procedures, and presentation skills Desired Qualifications SAIC is a premier technology integrator, solving our nation's most complex modernization and systems engineering challenges across the defense, space, federal civilian, and intelligence markets.
