Gabriel Marketing Group (GMG) is currently seeking a PR Account Manager to join our team. GMG is a boutique integrated PR and marketing firm focused on high-growth technology companies. We work with some of the coolest emerging B2B tech organizations in the industry as well as mezzanine tech companies. We service our clients through a suite of services including public relations, analyst relations, strategic communications and comprehensive digital marketing services such as SEO, digital advertising and web strategy and development. GMG is looking for a motivated mid-level public relations professional to join us in the technology PR field. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree5-7 years of experience in PR/Marketing industryPR agency experience (preferably tech PR industry experience) Professional writing experience: press releases, bylines, white papers, pitches, etc.Team management experienceProven ability to garner press coverage for clients Tasks: Media RelationsWe need a media hound. Someone who knows how to write a creative, timely, trend-driven pitch and can translate that into measurable editorial results. WritingThe ability to write and execute marketing and PR plans. This means anything from a new product launch, to a new company launch, to a yearly marketing plan. In addition, you must know how to write effective press releases, bylines, white papers, pitches and all other things PR/marketing. Social MediaA keen understanding of how social media works as a PR and marketing strategy, and the ability to counsel clients on strategies for incorporating social media in order to achieve their goals. Team ManagementProvide staff with support and direction, serving as a role model and mentor on client service, professionalism, teamwork and more. Manage the daily execution of client activity, which includes, but is not limited to, delegating assignments, reviewing client-facing documents and ensuring deadlines are met. Team PlayerWe are looking for someone who's a team player -- someone who's not averse to pitching in at the 11th hour as needed, and who can take the lead on projects, or identify new ones, without being asked. Someone who's a leader that our junior staff will want to emulate. Additional Pluses: Experience interacting with high-level and senior executivesB2B industry experience
