100% Remote Senior Devops Engineer
An exciting EdTech company based in the DC metro area is hiring for a 100% remote Senior level DevOps/Operations engineer to manage their high availability cloud footprint. Their software/platform provides cutting edge, patent pending tools for teachers to impact students in the classroom. 40% of all teachers in the US are currently users of their product suite and they take impacting kids education very seriously. They have world leaders and foundations as their investors, and became profitable this year. This person will work with a talented team of software developers and QA to manage the AWS environment, build CI/CD pipelines, automate where possible and innovate where necessary. They are looking for an engineer capable of continuing their 99.8% up time track record while still finding ways of improving the environment. Therefore, they are looking for an engineer with extensive Linux experience who is great at problem solving and can think outside of the box. The ideal candidate would also have experience with scripting, automation and a good understanding of the cloud. Any docker or kubernetes is a major plus!
