The Finance Manager is responsible for providing the day-to-day financial direction for our distribution business, while developing the financial platform to support future growth. This role is key in providing the business with insight and direction to support our ongoing growth initiatives. The incumbent will serve as a member on the State Street Leadership Team and the Finance Leadership Team. Ensure timely month-end close, including the preparation of quantitative and qualitative variance analyses to measure business performance and support decision making. Work with business partners to proactively identify and remediate process gaps in support of ongoing continuous improvement programs Work with business partners to develop and execute financial reporting which support business decisions both now and as our business grows. Oversee testing of accounting and reporting process flows and control with an emphasis on inventory control and product costing Provide leadership and support the development of finance staff as well as business partners.Knowledge & Skills7+ years of progressively responsible accounting experienceKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP)Strong working knowledge of excel and exposure to an ERP environmentStrong analytical and writing skillsExcellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact and support change across all levels of the organizationExcellent organizational skills Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting or related fieldHolly Poultry LLC is a family owned Poultry Further Processing Company located just inside the Baltimore City limits.Our chicken is served at Royal Farms, Nando's and many other locations throughout theMid- Atlantic region.
