This position transforms operational goals into daily execution and supervision of production related activities. Additional responsibilities will include project & process engineering, reporting, documentation, and development of direct reports. This position will have oversight of certain production personnel and will have potential for growth.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafety & ComplianceAssist in technical calculations related to compliance reportingPromote a safety oriented cultureMonitor and improve continuous and batch chemical processesContinuously update Standard Operating ProceduresReport any process and equipment problems, including night & weekend monitoringCreate reporting of key production metrics for the site management teamDevelop a thorough knowledge of all processes and equipmentCreate a training bible for all plant processesWork with external contractor to update all process P&ID'sTroubleshoot problemsWork to reduce costs through improving quality and productivityResponsible to execute PSSR's, MOC's, and PHA's on an as needed basisUtilize fully integrated IT business system (SAP) in all processesIssue Maintenance Work Requests & Work OrdersSupervise Production Personnel.Train, evaluate, and review performance of production personnelDevelop or mold practices to improve productivitySupervise loading and unloading of trucks and railOther duties as assignedWhat We OfferStrong safety focused working environment Collaborative team working environment Competitive wages and comprehensibe benefits package, including 401KWhat You Need4 year bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemical EngineeringMinimum 3 years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment with a working knowledge of plant technical process flows and operations, including progressive track record.
