Position Summary In order to keep performing at peak capacity, our Airmen need to be in peak mental and physical condition. Responsible for advancing healthy living practices, Dietitians help their patients make positive lifestyle changes. From conducting personal assessments to implementing unique nutrition plans, these food and nutrition experts enable our Airmen and their families to make decisions that keep them healthy, focused and active. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and completion of a didactic program in dietetics approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) * Knowledge of the principles of human nutrition, regular and therapeutic diets, cultural food habits and food-service management * Minimum of 24 months of experience in dietetic assignments * Completion of 5.5-week Commissioned Officer training course * Must be between the ages of 18 and 41 About the Air Force The US Air Force is the most advanced air force in the world, offering hundreds of career opportunities, from healthcare to engineering, in order to provide precise and reliable global vigilance, reach and power for the nation.
