University of Maryland University College (UMUC) seeks a Senior Account Manager for the Office of Corporate Learning Solutions. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Client Relationship Management, the Senior Account Manager will provide services for large complex accounts while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and executed agreements, develop strong relationships and participate and/or lead promotional activities that result in growth of enrollments, and coordinate and update business processes with internal staff in other UMUC departments in order to successfully deliver services to accounts.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • In consultation with the Business Development team, on-board new clients by creating an alliance web page, setting up the employment verification process, discuss promotional opportunities, etc.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement account plans to achieve enrollment growth of assigned accounts. Account plans will include communication and promotional strategies, issue resolution, and reporting on enrollments.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of assigned accounts' business and human capital needs through ongoing investigation, tracking, and resolution of customer concerns through the account plans. Report on these needs in account management and department meetings.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders and departments to ensure the successful and timely delivery of services to accounts.
  • Assist the Business Development team in growing partnerships and enrollments by identifying meaningful initiatives, developing professional presentations, and leading meetings with key decision makers from the account and various UMUC staff members to meet the customer needs.
  • Supervise CLS staff (if applicable).
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated high level of performance in business to business work environment; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work accurately and professionally with minimal oversight; experience leading and managing teams; and use of strong interpersonal communication skills.
