Overview of the Position We are seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to manage the recruitment function and supervise 1-2 Talent Acquisition Associates. The Director will work closely with executive leadership, technical, and corporate staff to provide full life cycle recruiting and staffing for positions worldwide, own the candidate experience from application to offer acceptance, and lead employer branding initiatives. Responsibilities In collaboration with senior staff, develop and implement a full life-cycle recruitment process for sourcing, selecting, and onboarding employees according to organizational policies. Oversee development of complete job descriptions which accurately reflect the requirements of the position and the skills and competencies needed. Institute quality control measures for review of job descriptions. Oversee advertisement and posting of open roles (or future placements for proposal purposes) to ensure broad dissemination in relevant locations to maximize talent pool. Manage efficient systems to screen, interview and conduct reference and other checks on potential candidates. Conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate interview and feedback process. Oversee documentation processes ensuring that all legal and organizational requirements are met. Coordinate the preparation of employment offers to qualified candidates. Oversee and coordinate a successful orientation program reflective of industry best practices including partnering with other team members for input and coordination. Own the candidate experience and interview process, establishing standards and best practices for communication and internal decision-making from the time a job applicant applies to a role to when a decision is made and communicated. Lead employer branding initiatives, including support for the development of our Careers Page and presence on external platforms. Collect, analyze and report on recruiting data metrics, in addition to making prompt and thoughtful process changes based on findings. Guide hiring managers and teams through effective hiring, interviewing and sourcing practices. Ensure consistency of process, guidelines and candidate experience throughout Recruiting department with guiding and leading the Recruitment team. Master's degree in human resource management or related field and 5+ years' demonstrated success recruiting for international development organizations preferably in the public health sector or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Recruiting within the federal contracting environment. Experience designing and executing creative and strategic recruitment strategies. In-depth knowledge of recruitment and selection laws. Knowledge of industry best practices for successful candidate application and onboarding experiences.
