Our 48,000 people across 1,000 locations in 70 countries serve the local, regional and global real estate needs of corporates and investors, delivering integrated commercial real estate services built on insight and foresight, sound market research and relevant knowledge.We are seeking a Project Development Associate to work with Government clients and other Jones Lang LaSalle businesses to implement multiple real estate leasing transactions in primary, secondary and tertiary markets across the US Each transaction involves assessing client space and special requirements, canvassing the market to evaluate potential site options, establishing negotiation objectives for the key lease terms, conducting meetings and market tours of available space with the client, advertising and soliciting for offers, evaluating and comparing response offers, preparing net present value analysis, leading landlord lease negotiations of detailed lease terms, tracking the execution of lease document and monitoring the progress of any required build out from initial design through construction and tenant occupancy.PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE - Chicago, IL or Washington, DC Responsibilities:Work directly with clients on tasksExecute accurate and well-organized deliverables on scheduleCreate, review and update project schedulesReview design and construction drawingsReview and negotiate tenant build out (construction) price proposalsAttend project and construction progress meetingsAttend and facilitate progress and post-occupancy inspectionsMaintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentationAchieve specific client performance ratingsManage assignments with and without manager supportHandle a significant workload through assignment prioritization and time managementAdminister databases and prepare project status reportsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in architecture, real estate, engineering or related fieldThree years of documented construction or commercial real estate experience specific to build out of office spaceFull-time at corporate office location; willingness to travelStrong client relationship skillsAppropriate background check and various federal clearancesStrong organization and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and be a team playerProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and ProjectAdditional Beneficial Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCADPublic sector experienceReal Estate Salesperson / Broker licenseExperience with project management for office build-outStart a lasting career with Jones Lang LaSalle today!We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
