Please find below a short video that reflects Navy Mutual Aid Association's Mission and Values. https://www.youtube.com/embed/60nERBKxwUo We are looking for a Marketing Operations, Events & Engagement Specialist who serves as the day-to-day point of contact for managing projects related to marketing operations, events, our ad agency, fulfillment vendors, sponsorship, social media engagements, and management of all aspects of the marketing automation platform This position is full-time and is located in Arlington, Virginia and will report to the Director of Marketing. Core Working Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Qualifications/Characteristics:. At least 7 years of Marketing Communications experience and related Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications required. . Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills, along with knowledge of desktop publishing programs and website management. . Qualified candidates should have prior experience in product management, project management from a professional customer-service environment. Ability to work under tight deadlines and translate ideas and concepts into professional communication product; have strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines. . Candidates should be passionate about writing, self-motivated, highly organized and thorough. Must be willing and able to accommodate regular travel, including weekends. . Qualified candidates should be an experienced user of marketing automation platforms (Marketo) - executing email sends, structuring nurture campaigns, building form pages, reporting, and managing the database. Proficient with all social media platforms, Marketo/Pardot/Hubspot, MS Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with Google Analytics and AdWords, CMS experience, Salesforce.com, Google Drive, Basecamp, Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence or other collaboration tools, a definite plus. Military service or familiarity with military life also a plus. Primary Responsibilities: . The Marketing Operations, Events & Engagement Specialist serves as the day-to-day point of contact for managing projects related to marketing operations, events, our ad agency, fulfillment vendors, sponsorship, social media engagements, and management of all aspects of the marketing automation platform . Negotiate and secure deliverables and contracts from third party partners and vendors . Create and maintain annual events/sponsorship calendar as well as annual email calendar for prospect and member communications and outreach efforts . Create and manage social media campaign calendar; support and execute social media postings and engage with audience in capacity of 'community manager' . Maintain social media presence; update social media accounts during events and on a regular basis, including Twitter, Facebook & LinkedIn; maintain working knowledge of social media marketing solutions . Maintain monthly reports related to leads, returns, and on-line conversions through data-pulls using SFDC, Google Analytics, and other platforms . Travel to and manage conference and exhibit opportunities for various marketing/media events which promote our brand . Determine and select design of conference materials, booth, signage, banners, and other materials required to support events . Leverage knowledge of Navy Mutual's strategic initiatives to determine relative suitability of events/sponsorships, level of participation, and on-site requirements for securing the greatest possible return (awareness, engagement, leads) for each event/sponsorship opportunity . Support production of copy and content related to branding, ads, direct communications (e-mail, newsletters, etc.), presentations and other social and creative outlets for Navy Mutual . Provide input to the creative development, coordination and execution of marketing campaigns, communications programs, and public outreach to support implementation of strategic marketing plan and lead generation initiatives . Assist in the design, creation, and delivery of branded materials and advertisements to meet ad delivery deadlines and support the growth and expansion of company products and services . Contribute to development of digital marketing materials including web, advertising, email marketing, social media, and blog content . Maintain ownership of promotional calendar including ad deadlines and schedule of marketing-communications campaigns . Work with Marketing Director on projects dealing with event sponsorship executions, advertisements, email communications, direct mail and customer success stories; provide insight and analysis/reporting on results and proposed future tactical and strategic plan . Execute email sends, manage database/reporting, and build auto-nurture email campaigns . Manage and maintain inventory of Navy Mutual-branded and promotional items .
