System Source is in search of a highly detailed professional to join our Accounting team at our corporate office in Hunt Valley, MD. The Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist will manage and process accounts payable and payroll for System Source. In addition, the Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist will assist in the monthly accounting close process and reporting. Specific Responsibilities:Prepare and process complete and accurate weekly payable batchesManage monthly review of open purchase orders and related accrualsReview quarterly key vendor statement reconciliationsProcess tax reporting items (1099, W-2, Sales & Use Tax, etc.)Manage and process biweekly payrollSupport and adhere to strong internal control policies and procedures and identify areas of improvement Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:5+ years of relevant experience required. A combination of college and work experience acceptable.Microsoft Dynamics experience strongly preferredProficiency in processing payroll and use of Dynamics experience strongly preferredSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong organizational skillsRobust internal controls understanding and documentation of relevant financial processes and transactionsMeticulous, ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a challenging environmentExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft office suite and related tools System Source, a 70-employee leading IT & AV consulting and integration firm, has been serving the Baltimore-Washington area since 1981.
