Position Description:As a New Business Development Associate for the Athletic and Institutional market, you will have the opportunity to present Risk-X, CFM's cloud-based, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform designed specifically for College and University Athletic and Recreational Sports Departments. Typical buyers of our products include Athletic Directors, Recreational Sport Directors, Club Sports Directors, and Title IX Directors.You will be responsible for establishing new client relationships, meeting target revenue goals, and cross-selling existing client relationships. Daily responsibilities include:Identifying prospective clients within assigned territoryIdentifying leads through outbound calling, e-mail, and follow-up from marketing activities.Scheduling in-person meetings and/or conference calls, and online demosUnderstanding client needs and assisting in preparation of proposalsClosing opportunities and assisting in transition of projects to client servicesUpdating opportunities, account and contact information in CRM systemForecasting sales projectionsMeeting activity and revenue targets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably within the Higher Education and/or Athletic Markets (consultative sales experience preferred, software sales a plus)Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skillsHighly motivated, self-starter Ability to meet personal and team, and activity and revenue goalsAbility to travel
