Advertising Sales Manager
Mid-Atlantic Media (MAM)is recruiting an advertising sales manager to lead a team in the Washington metro market for multi-media titles. Primary objective will be to supervise a team of advertising sales consultants to maximize advertising revenue for Washington Jewish Week, Washington Family magazine, Consumer's Eye magazine and Frederick's Child magazine in both print and digital platforms. Secondarily, the advertising sales manager will encourage cross selling into MAM's other titles in the Baltimore area market which include Baltimore Jewish Times, Baltimore's Child, Baltimore Style magazine and Homes Services Magazine. The manager will be expected to forecast revenue targets, mentor and develop sales representatives, work with key accounts, focus on acquiring key prospects, be in the field with and without sales reps, and attend some community activities. Most importantly, motivate the advertising sales consultants to acquire new business.The sales manager must possess a keen understanding of print and digital advertising. Candidate must possess a proven track record in advertising leadership who can create and execute a multi-platform sales strategies that include website, digital magazine, email delivery and social media with standard print media. The candidate will help our sales team develop smart programs that package together print and digital platforms to help MAM customers grow their business.
