Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the WorldDirector - International Trade Compliance OfficeResponsibilities:Lead the company's International Trade Compliance team to ensure full compliance with all import and export laws and other applicable trade requirements.Fosters a business-focused culture of compliance - providing practicable guidance and solutions to business units consistent with compliance requirements.Provide advice and guidance to senior company leadership regarding trade complianceOversee the company's engagement with US Government trade compliance authorities including Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry & Security, Customs & Border Protection and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms; serve as company's senior Empowered Official re trade compliance.Serve as the company's subject matter expert on ITAR, EAR, FTR, BATFE, OFAC and CBP regulations, including managing classification processes, maintaining appropriate registrations, processing license applications, verifying applicability of trade exemptions, and making appropriate customs filings.Plan and execute international trade compliance review and audit risk mitigation program supporting the company's US and overseas business operations, including overseeing the conduct of internal audits, execution of corrective action plans, and managing voluntary disclosure process.Develop and conduct international trade compliance training at all levels of employment throughout the company. Develop and implement new work flow processes to improve efficiency and responsiveness of the company's international trade compliance program.Oversee professional development of the International Trade Compliance team.Perform with integrity and promote PAE's corporate values. Qualifications:10+ years of Export Compliance experience with 3+years in a supervisory position.Strong preference for licensed attorney; minimum education requirement of Bachelor's degree from accredited institution.Proven experience in motivating teams, along with the ability to build strong rapport and establish trust and credibility through a consultative approach.Professional demeanor including an ability to effectively build positive relationships with senior company leaders across all business units and corporate teams.Demonstrated expertise in trade compliance regulations.Robust planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent analytical, written & verbal communication skills.Demonstrates personal commitment and accountability for timely completion of projects.Ability to work in a rapidly changing, no frills, results-oriented culture.Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.PAE is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
