CHENEGA CORPORATION MILITARY INTEL & OPERATIONS SUPPORT UNITCompany Job Title:Security ManagerClearance:Top SecretLocation:Lorton, VAReports To:Director of SecurityFLSA Status:Exempt, Full Time, RegularSummary: The Security Manager advises staff, managers, and employees on all aspects of government security requirements and maintains minimum physical security requirements for operational facilities. Provides input as requested on security implications of new proposals and business opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)Assists employees on preparation of security clearance paperwork using the Electronic Questionnaires for investigations Processing (e-QIP) system to ensure compliance and completes processing for forwarding to government.Coordinates collateral personnel security clearance requirements with the Defense Security Service.Performs FSO and CSSO responsibilities.Coordinates additional security requirements such as Polygraphs, National Agency Checks and Counterintelligence Screening.Coordinates SCI personnel security clearance requirements with various government customers (depending on contract requirements).Serves as the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for automated information systems that process classified information. Prepares and maintains the Automated Information System Security Plans (AISSP) and provides oversight to ensure compliance with government specified operational requirements.Maintains a Database of all cleared employees.Maintains a personnel security file for all cleared employees.Processes incoming and outgoing Visit Requests for classified visits.Responds as Primary On-Call person for all alarm activations in the HQ's facility.Maintains accountability of all classified documents coming into or being sent from the facility.Provides courier authorizations to employees and briefings as needed.Prepares DD Forms 254 for subcontractors and interprets requirements of DD Forms 254 issued to subsidiaries management by MIOS.Prepares Security ID Badges for security identification purposes and as required by contract.Prepares reports and notifications to appropriate government agencies as required by applicable government regulations.Keeps senior management apprised of any security deficiencies or potential problem areas.Coordinates all security requirements with appropriate government agencies and interacts with their security staff to ensure processing of requested actions.Oversees and coordinates security-related activities at off-site facilities to ensure compliance.Manages Corporate compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) under the Department of Defense National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and individual contractual requirements as specified on contract DD 254 forms.Manages Corporate compliance with all aspects of the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Program in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5105.21-M-1 and applicable customer regulations.Non-Essential Duties:Other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of Security Support Staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Chenega policies and applicable laws.Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience OR Associates Degree and 8 years of experienceExperience to include:Corporate level of a government contractor and government (civilian or military) security experience.Practical (hands-on) experience in managing secure facilities (TS and below) through the Defense Security ServiceSCIF management under any government agency.Top Secret Clearance required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of all aspects of NISPOM and SCI Administrative Security Manual. Must be familiar with Automated Information System Processing requirements for both collateral and SCI computer systems.
