Job SummaryMarketing firm is seeking a Contract IT Specialist with network management, software development and database administration experience, who can provide implementation, technical support, monitoring, and maintenance to our IT systems. This position requires one day per week in office, but must also be available remotely throughout the week.If interested please reply to this posting with a copy of your resume.DutiesProvide support for existing IT infrastructure and emerging technologies and services, to include but not limited to: PCs, Networks, Google Drive, Windows applications, Office 365, virus scan software, and other related systems.Determine the appropriate course of action to resolve problems with minimal business disruption.Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction.Coordinate the needs of in-house and remote employees.Protect data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means.Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use.Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes.QualificationsAt least 5 years experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required.Industry certifications and memberships a plus.Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrityMust be willing to travel to DC office locations.Must be accessible and willing to work flexible hours.QgtebSrKQi
