Lead Procurement Analyst/Acquisition Specialist Full-Time Exempt Washington, DC The Arcanum Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst/Acquisition Specialist on a contingent basis to support a Government client in the Washington, DC area, zip code 20003. The Procurement Analyst/Acquisition Specialist will support the adoption of the client s new contract writing system. The overall scope of the project relates to the adoption of the client s new contract writing system. The project will provide professional acquisition and business support services to the client in the areas of policy development, cradle to grave contracting support, data analytics, and other management consulting support. Performance Requirements: The Lead Procurement Analyst/Acquisition Specialist will support the client s Acquisition Management Branch and internal customers. The Lead Procurement Analyst will learn and understand all aspects of Acquisition Management Branch s environment and processes to communicate with and ensure contractor personnel supporting the contract are compliant with operational norms. The Lead Procurement Analyst will be multi-functional, with strong written and oral communication skills. The Lead Procurement Analyst will respond to Government issues, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues. Qualifications: Possess five years of experience developing, evaluating, and improving Government requirements, in either the IT or professional service domains. Possess five years of increasing responsibilities conducting Government acquisitions. Possess five years of experience developing acquisition policy and guidance. Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvement initiatives within organizations and providing recommendations on implementing efficiencies and effectiveness to organizational processes.
