Position: Contract Manager (DOD) Location: Ashburn VA Duration: Permanent High Level Summary of Day-to-Day Role/Function: Provide contracts management support to DoD and Government agencies. Provide procurement and sub-contract administration. Track, manage and review all contractual agreements from Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements that are required to form partnerships that are beneficial to the company. Assist with the development and execution of contracting strategies and provide contractual policy analysis and procedural input to DoD and government clients. Utilize and maintain a solid working knowledge of FAR, DCAA and Cost Accounting Standards. Assist with the development of new contractual prime and sub contract agreements. Support the development of proposal documentation and prepare contract modification requests (MRs), procurement requests (PRs), Delivery Orders (DOs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), and Performance Work Statements (PWS), CDRLs, and deliverables. Participate in developing and improving common processes related to contracts management and focus on contract close outs. Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language and provisions. Perform appropriate clinical, administrative and operational research to support proposal and contract development. Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables. Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal Essential Job Functions Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain/maintain a government security clearance, if required Travel will be required Education and Experience BA/BS Degree with minimum of 10 years US Government contracting experience Advanced degree desired Thorough working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS and other supplements Working experience with OTAs, GSA Schedules, DoD, DHS, R&D efforts, FMS/FMF, and International efforts Certified Federal Contact Manager (CFCM) desired. - provided by Dice Contract Manager, Federal Contracting
