Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Basic Qualifications: BSEE & 5 years experience. Must have US Citizenship with a current or active Secret level clearance. At least 3 years of EMI/EMC design and test experience Experience with MIL-STD-461/464 military standards. Experience composing EMI/EMC control plans, test plans, test procedures, test reports Experience using EMI/EMC analysis software to determine compatibility of components, subsystems and systems. Preferred Qualifications: Basic understanding of RF design, circuit theory and electromagnetic principles including: component and cable shielding, filters, magnetics, microwaves and antennas. Experience reviewing schematics, PCB layouts, and mechanical designs for applying electromagnetic design mitigation. Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
