Position Title: Program Manager Work Location: Fort Lee - Petersburg, VA Responsibilities Must be capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program control, and technical personnel involved in providing services in fulfillment of the contract. Must have a thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle of the software in military systems. Must have knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of software and computer resources for Army systems. Must be capable of managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort. Must be capable of providing direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures. Must be capable of providing recommendations for resolution of technical problems. The Program Manager must at all times be a role model to subordinate employees, be a workforce motivator, and be a provider of constructive criticism. Army Acquisition Corps Level 2 certification in logistics, program management or information technology is highly desired OR recognized industry equivalent professional certification. The candidate shall provide project management support services. Project management support services includes: Administrative and clerical support, creating reports, briefings and attendance at meetings, cost control, cost reporting, schedule management, technical status reporting, technical reviews and program reviews. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, or minimum years of Relevant Experience 9+ years within the last 15Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or other Engineering disciplinePMP certification.Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development.Experience with a business unit rated CMMI level III for development.Must possess and maintain an IT-I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and IAT-II/IAM-II certifications IAW DoD 8570.01-MExperience with following a mature DoD System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within a program with extensive documentation deliverables.Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework, the experience with DoD Assessment and Authorization process for a DoD Information System.Experience with Cyberspace Workforce Management under DoD Directive 8140.01Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 9 years within the last 15 yearsSecret ClearanceMust be a US CitizenPhysical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weigh up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
