Membership Services RepresentativeThe American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) is the national professional organization for podiatrists. We are located in Bethesda, MD, and have more than 12,000 members across the US and Puerto Rico. We are seeking candidates for the role of Membership Services Representative to respond to membership inquiries concerning membership services, act as a liaison to state component societies concerning membership issues, and maintain accurate and timely membership records of the association. The membership services representative is often the primary point-of-contact with our constituents, setting the proper tone of the relationship with APMA. This is a full-time, on-site position that reports to the Director of Membership.Among the expectations for the position are the following:Process membership applications, reinstatements, membership status changes, transfers, suspensions, etc.Maintain records on dues payments and monthly balances.Update membership records.Assist with the end of the month closing, balancing, reporting, and statistical reports.Maintain a working knowledge of APMA member benefit programs.Reconcile membership records with records of state component societies.Provide exceptional customer service.Competitive benefits package available including 401(k), free parking, and positive, team-oriented environment.
