A leading language learning startup that has over 100 million users is currently looking for a senior software engineer that is interested in getting into management, and they will pay this engineer up to $150,000 on the base salary. In this role you will be developing new features for their language learning app and with a goal of managing a team of three JavaScript engineers within 3-6 months. Some of the features you will be developing include a new vocabulary feature, and improve their core translation and conjugation features to accelerate personalized learning. Technologies include ES6, React.js, Node.js, AWS, Lambda, and Docker. They are currently sitting at 25 employees, half of which are engineers, so you will have very low barriers to make impacts on the application, the company, and the millions users they serve.
