ComputerWorks, Inc., developer of premium CRM software for government and enterprise, is looking for a highly energetic and personable individual in the Washington, DC area to generate new revenue with state and federal government agencies, as well as private industry worldwide. Current opportunities exist in both open market and limited competition scenarios. The preferred candidate will be the point of contact for prospective clients throughout the sales cycle and must be comfortable evaluating client needs and handling any situation while selling complex solutions. You will be supported at every step by a client support team who will guide customers through software/product adoption and implementation. This is technology sales and true "hunter" role for someone looking to grow a business. Essential Job Functions:Lead B2B sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of an off-the-shelf or customizable software solution.Independently prospect and qualify new business opportunities; initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, identifying account requirements and utilizing our sales CRM platform.Work closely with our technical professionals to provide pre-sales support. Oversee and participate in the preparation and presentation of professional proposals/service solutions specific to the customer's needs.Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explain product and service capabilities; overcome objections; prepare contracts.Develop and nurture existing customer relationships. Work with key decision makers to build relationships while positioning the company for future opportunities.Work across multiple markets to qualify and develop opportunities.Work with executive staff to set revenue goals. Create and maintain a sales plan based on revenue target and work to meet or exceed revenue goals.Perform other duties as requested by executive staff.Full accountability for market success. Experience:Bachelor's degree(4) years of experience in an enterprise or technical software solution sales environment meeting monthly/quarterly/annual sales goalsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite ToolsCRM / IBM Collaboration Tools experience preferredExcellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and presentation skillsCapitol Hill / Congress experience a plus
