As part of our growth strategy, Albireo Energy will increase sales staffing and are currently looking for a Sales Executive who will be responsible for profitable and aggressive sales growth in the Washinton DC, Northern Virginia, and Baltimore Markets. The Sales Executive should have experience in owner direct sales and/or the plan and spec market, preferably in a large organization where they have gained experience and appreciation for a disciplined approach to account management and the competitive bid process.Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with building owners and/or facility management companies Aggressively puruse and sell service agreements to new buildings and buildings that have existing Albireo Energy BAS control systems Sell BAS system upgrades to legacy systems in buildings Target recently-commissioned buildings for service contracts and enhanced energy services offerings Target existing buildings for enhanced energy services offerings such as supply side energy procurement contracts, predictive maintenance, and fault detection and diagnostics Partner with more senior account executives on established accounts and assist in proposing service solutions Work with estimator and account executives to prepare technical scope of work and communicate our value proposition Negotiate final pricing and scope of work with end users Provide sales support to ongoing new installations Attend sales meetings and training seminars Team sell with other sales executives Achieve annual revenue and gross margin targets Track sales activities and forecast sales opportunities in CRM Requirements Proven success in either the plan & spec or owner direct sales 3+ years of experience in sales in the building automation field or similar technical sales Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, & controls drawings Understanding of building HVAC systems and the application of controls Must embrace use of CRM tool for pipeline and activity management Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Bachelor's degree in engineering or combination of education and industry experience BenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceBasic Life InsuranceVoluntary Life InsuranceShort Term & Long Term DisabilityPaid VacationPaid Sick TimePaid Holidays401K with Company match
