Adjunct Applied Viola Faculty

The George Mason University School of Music seeks a part-time artist faculty member in Viola starting Fall 2019. Responsibilities: Adjunct will teach applied viola lessons, participate in audition days, adjudicate student juries, instruct studio classes, and attend recruitment events as needed.

Required Qualifications: * Master's degree in music from an accredited institution; * An established reputation as a performer and educator.

Preferred Qualifications: * Ideal candidate will have extensive chamber music and orchestral experience as well as a record of developing, teaching, and recruiting quality viola students.
