SR. CLOUD OPS ENGINEER

Sr. Cloud Ops Engineer sought by Ellucian Company L.P. in Reston, VA 40 hrs/wk. Duties: Work with Network Engineers responsible for design, deployment, sustainability, performance tuning, and security of our infrastructure networks. Build automation for a highly available infrastructure. Support clients hosted in AWS. Responsible for documenting and troubleshooting. Min. Requirements: bachelor's degree in computer engineering plus minimum of five years' experience in years of enterprise scale network operations experience. Specific skills or other requirements: 2 years of hands-on operational experience with amazon web services (AWS). 2 years of experience with deployment and management of AWS services - including: VPC, route 53, ELB, EBS, ec2, s3. 2 years of experience in network administration in large datacenter environment DNS/DHCP, load balancing (f5 networks, AWS ELB), firewalls (cisco systems, juniper networks), IDS/IPS, IPSEC VPN). 2 years of experience implementing dynamic IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS). 2 years of experience performing network latency analysis, performance monitoring and troubleshooting. 2 years of experience with automation scripting ability (bash/shell, python). 2 years of experience in enterprise scale networks within cloud environment delivering SAAS solutions.
