Currently looking for Audio/Visual Technicians to work in our AV Commercial and Government Department. The candidate must be experienced in installation as well as troubleshooting. Candidates must have at least two years of direct commercial AV Technician experience.MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE INSTALLING AV EQUIPMENT IN COMMERCIAL/GOVERNMENT FACILITIES.Qualifications:2-5yrs experience on AV InstallationProvide technical expertise involved in the installation and integration of AV equipment including display devices, projectors, VTC systems, fiber equipment, etc. as required.Working knowledge of Crestron system, AMX, Cisco and Extron ProductsCertifications in CTS or CTS-I A, Polycom, or any specific manufacturer (Preferred not required)Test completed systems and diagnose malfunctions. Make corrections to provide a functioning AV systemPosition Duties and Responsibilities:Transport and set up materials for installation.Installation, configuration, integration and testing of videoconferencing and audiovisual equipmentAssemble and install displays, projectors, speakers, and other AV components.Read and interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and construction plans and install AV equipment to meet requirements as detailed in installation plansInstall low voltage wiring and cable; solder and terminate connectors; wire equipment racks; and assemble equipment/devices using the appropriate supports/mountsDiagnose and troubleshoot AV equipment failures and make minor adjustments to audio visual equipment and systems.Provide basic troubleshooting of systems and identify problems.Seek guidance as necessary to find solutionsComplete small projects within established time lines with guidance.Clean up job site.About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
