Our client manufactures a broad range of products for locomotives, freight cars and passenger transit vehicles.These products are broken down into categories including electronic braking systems and "Black Box" recorders.Systems Engineer to perform requirement capture and management, system design, and system validation activities. This includes participation in system level technical guidance during all phases of development (requirements definition, design, test, validation, production, and commission) to ensure that systems and products meet customer requirementsResponsibilitiesWork with customer to define and manage customer requirements (Less than 15% is customer facing)Perform system analysis, system architecture review and risk analysisDevelop and manage system requirements derived from customer requirementsMaintain traceability between customer and system requirementsPerform requirements change managementVerify system test coverage and system validation resultsMaintain system level documentationEvaluate and identify new technologies for implementationPerform issue analysis from internal validation testing and customer reports Qualifications BS degree in technical discipline and minimum 8 years engineering experience (In Electrical Hardware Design or Test) with 3 years system engineering experience Requirements management tools experience (eg, TestTrack RM, DOORS,etc.)**Candidates need to be eligible to work without sponsorship now or in the future**About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
