In FY2018, Ascension provided nearly $2 billion in care of persons living in poverty and other community benefit programs.What You Will Do As an Associate with St. Agnes Healthcare-MD, you will have the opportunity toCoordinates unit staffing and provides leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned area.Responsibilities:Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shift. Contributes to or performs performance evaluations of staff.Assesses daily patient care needs and develops and distributes patient care assignments, ensuring that population appropriate patient care is given.Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.Team lead in thetreatment room will be responsible for daily schedule and mentorship. Occasionally will have patients,triage response responsibility.Assit with new hire orientation process. Would be overseeing 8 RNs in the treatment room.Maintains professional development.Other duties as assigned.Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends no holidays 8-4:30 pm. Occasional late day when assigned (5-6 pm usually)What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration:Required Credential(s):CertifiedBLS Providerspecializing inHealth Service Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Or military CPR-First Aid training.LicensedRegistered Nursecredentialed from theMaryland Board of Nursingor current home state license for multi-state license recognition ''Compact State''obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Education:Associate DegreeRequired: Associates degree in nursing at date of hireWork Experience:Required: Three (3) years acute care setting, Two (2) years in outpatient anticoagulation clinic at date of hire.
