MAXIMUM DAY SERVICES, LLC is currently hiring for a Registered Nurse opening at our medical adult day facility in Owings Mills Maryland. QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) for the state of Maryland Current CPR and First Aid certification. REPORTS TO: Health Director TIME REQUIREMENTS: Full Time 40Hours per week 8:30am-5:00PM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide or supervise, or both, required program nursing services to each participant. 2. Supervise other Nursing Care staff. 3. Coordinate the development of ongoing review of the participant s plan of care. 4. Write, at least monthly, nursing notes in the participants chart. 5. Assist as necessary in the delivery of other required program services. 6. Provide overall supervision of the Adult Day Care Center in the absence of the Program Director. 7. Assess all new admissions on day of admission and provide 5 progress notes for the participants first 5 days of attendance. 8. Documents monthly vital signs and weights obtained by nursing assistants and follow up on any significant changes. 9. Administers medications as ordered. 10. Completes ADCAP assessment monthly. 11. Completes incident reports and provides adequate documentation and follow up in medical record. 12. Communicates with care provider on any change in participants care. 13. Initiates POC on all problems identified for each participant and provides adequate evaluations every 90 days. 14. Obtain and implement orders received from physician and notify Care Provider of Changes. 15. Coordinates with Health Director need for supplies and arranges to have needed supplies and equipment on hand. 16. Maintains infection-control policies and procedures. 17. Displays a professional attitude and maintains confidentiality. 1. Cooperates and maintains good working relationship with co-workers. 18. All other duties assigned by supervisor. 19. Provision or supervision or both of required nursing services to each participant 20. Coordination of the development and ongoing review of the participant s plan of care and assisting, as necessary, in the delivery of other required services.
