The Lourie Center for Children's Social & Emotional Wellness is a private, non-profit agency with a mission to improve the social and emotional health of young children and their families through prevention, early intervention, education, research and training. The Lourie Center has four core programs serving children birth through age 12 and their families: Head Start, The Lourie Center School, The Therapeutic Nursery Program and Parent-Child Clinical Services.

The IEP Coordinator:
Is Responsible for the coordination of the Individual Education Program (IEP) process as it involves students, parents, school staff, and state and local school system representatives. Schedules and attends all IEP meetings and assures that the school is in compliance with all federal and local school system requirements with regard to IEPs for special education students.
Coordinates the IEP process for all Lourie Center School students including determine IEP expiration dates and contact LEA representatives to schedule IEP meetings and reserve conference rooms.
Review IEP's for content quality and alignment of IEP goals and Present Levels of Academic Achievement & Functional Performance Goals.
Reviews all quarterly IEP updates for accuracy and compliance and provides oversite for the dissemination of quarterly updates to all relevant stakeholders
Provides classroom support and advisement to teachers to ensure accuracy of students' IEP.
Complete testing files for PARCC, MISA, MCAP, NWEA in alignment with student IEP requirements.
Administer NWEA informal assessments twice each school year.

Qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelor degree required,
Master's degree preferred in special education, education, or school administration
3- 5 years minimum experience
MSDE certification preferred
Active BLS CPR card
CPI card
