Policy and Governance Analyst
Key Role:

Provide IT policy and governance support to a DoD client in a high-paced, dynamic environment. Serve as a liaison to internal and external Governance Boards and Councils, coordinating with Joint Staff Directorates, US Military service branches, and Combatant Commands. Provide meeting scheduling, guide processes, and coordinate analysis of IT requirements, ensuring alignment with policies, strategies, missions, and goals. Develop and document processes and procedures for governing bodies and review and analyze CIO policy and guidance based on law, federal regulations, DoD CIO policy, or any other relevant policies and guidance. Collaborate on IT-related policy issues and recommend policy implementation plans and strategies to affect IT transformation. Examine institutional policy and governance initiatives to support implementation planning, and more efficient DoD business processes. Provide support for the evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings and prepare and execute detailed analysis for IT mission systems.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with supporting DoD, Civilian, and Military organizations

-3+ years of experience with supporting policy analysis, development, and governance-related tasks

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Joint Staff business processes preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical skills

-ITIL v3 and v4 or COBIT Certification a plus
