Procurement Analyst, Mid
Key Role:

Work with engineers, project managers, and delivery leads to develop detailed designs for integrated commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and sof tware solutions, derive bills of material (BOMs) that accurately identify required hardware and sof tware components, and develop procurement forecasts and reports. Interface with OEM vendors, value-added resellers (VARs), and distributors frequently to validate BOM items and product availability. Apply in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components as they relate to the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, configuration and property management best practices, and the ability to manipulate information in Micro sof t Excel us ing catalog, schedule, and master data sources. Lead the purchase acquisition process for all awards until completion of the order for a variety of te chn ical products, including hardware and sof tware. Maintain and manage a data structure for purchasing and logistical tracking to ensure consistencies in reporting and classifications and consolidate data for the presentation of execution stat us and financial summary overview. Analyze the development of logistics acquisition documentation, as required by the program office and department and agency leads. Support and provide analysis for the development and maintenance of product support budget ing and funding.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with financial analysis or COTS tools procurement

-5+ years of experience with working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

-2+ years of experience in working with vendors on the development of BOMs and procurement packages

-Knowledge of Micro sof t Excel at an intermediate to advanced level for data manipulation and reporting

-Ability to review the work of others for accuracy and completeness

-Ability to gather, analyze, and present or communicate information effectively

-Ability to meet critical deadlines

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with budget s and acquisitions

-Experience in vendor management

-Experience with SharePoint

-Experience with working in large federal agency environments

-Experience with data entry and record keeping

-Experience with working with OEM

-Experience with implementing and configuring IT infrastructure

-Experience with implementing IT solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, storage

-Experience with IT solutions, servers, and virtual infrastructure

-Experience with procuring hardware and sof tware COTS solutions for government agencies

-Experience with property management systems

-Possession of excellent organizational skills, including prioritizing a workload and multi-tasking while paying strict attention to detail
