Responsibilities

This position is located in the Office of Small Business/Sales and Marketing Division of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. This Division is responsible for the strategic marketing of EXIM Bank products and services to all eligible small business exporters. As appropriate, emphasis will be placed on women and minority owned businesses, environmental entities, and exporters located in rural and urban areas.

At the full performance level, duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Leads the development and communication of marketing plans to include target audience, content, schedule, and metrics to increase awareness of the Bank's trade finance products.
  • Writes targeted collateral to include white papers, success stories, case studies, web landing pages, and e-mail.
  • Develops new relationships with partner organizations to disseminate information and materials on government products/services to U.S. businesses and associations;attends meetings and engages in other activities for developmental purposes.
  • Administrates the sales and marketing Customer Relationship Management (CRM databases to produce, track, and measure marketing efforts. Prepare reports advising various levels in the EXIM Bank on the status of these initiatives.
  • Works to ensure that qualified leads are forwarded to regional sales teams.Develops recommendations based on statistical analysis for changes to numerical goals for consideration by senior management.
  • Maintains a current and in depth knowledge of all programs, structures, EXIM Bank policies, and market changes necessary to fulfill the mission of the EXIM Bank. Develops recommendations for changes to program and products based on statistical analysis.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work):

GS-12: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Government. Specialized experience includes:
  • Experience selling and promoting organizational products and services and designing marketing content
  • Experience in developing communication plans and digital outreach campaigns and researching consumer and market data
  • Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) database system to manage data
GS-13: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal Government. Specialized experience includes:
  • Experience selling and promoting organizational products and services and designing marketing content
  • Experience in formulating communication plans and digital outreach campaigns and researching consumer and market data
  • Experience providing guidance to the exporting community on finance regulations and limitations
  • Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) database system to manage data
Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-12/13 grade levels.
