F-35 Operational Systems Engineer and Analyst
Key Role:

Research, design, develop, and test structures, propulsion units, and guidance and control subsystems for aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft. Analyze aerospace product and equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine which designs can be produced by existing manufacturing and processing facilities and methods. Evaluate new te chn ologies for application in improving the design of aerospace systems. Plan, coordinate, direct, and evaluate the testing of aerospace systems. Perform risk assessment of aerospace systems and generate risk mitigation plans and strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience in an engineering or te chn ical position

-6 years of experience with military flight in a 4th or 5th Generation US strike or fighter aircraft

-Experience with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes and documents

-Experience in a major staff or program office

-Experience with requirements development

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent organizational and project management skills
