Duties

Summary

This position is located in the Records and Information Management Unit (RIMU), Support Services Section, Corporate Services Branch, Division of Administration at the FDIC. The incumbent's responsibilities include the administration, analysis, and implementation of the FDIC Forms Program in Headquarters and the Regional Offices.

Responsibilities

Uses technical expertise to analyze, design, review, and process Corporate forms in accordance with established policy and standards. Develops and tests Corporate forms to ensure forms are properly reviewed, controlled, and tracked.

Leads in the identification of requirements, establishment of standards, and implementation of guidelines and procedures for the design, storage, and access to Corporate-wide forms.

Provides guidance on form structure, graphics, capabilities, and regulatory requirements.

Provides guidance and assistance to program offices on electronic forms systems and software, to include forms design standards, data entry guidelines, and user benefits.

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-12: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 11 or higher, in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience interpreting and applying forms management principles; using automated systems to design, test, and manage forms.

Applicants eligible for ICTAP (Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program) must achieve a score of 85 "well qualified" for this position. For more information, click here .

  • Knowledge and skill in applying and adapting diverse analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to substantive forms management issues.
  • Knowledge of and experience in forms management principles and their applications.
  • Knowledge of government laws, regulations, and standards related to all forms program components.
  • Experience in the use of automated forms design software. Experience in the use of Java framework for developing and deploying modular software programs to develop adaptive and responsive forms using workflow ideologies.
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with managerial, program, and technical personnel.
