Communications Specialist, Mid
Key Role:

Develop messaging strategies and communications products for the client to communicate organization priorities and information to internal and external audiences across the Arm y. Analyze, write, and edit communications products and informational materials that are tailored to specific Army and government audiences, including official e-mail messaging, articles, key messages, and talking points. Maintain responsibility for managing communication plans through collaboration with key stakeholders. Identify and prioritize product deliverables and deadlines independently. Collaborate regularly with military clients to clarify technical topics. This position is client-facing and is located full-time in the client's spaces.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with strategic communications or program administration

-3 years of experience working with DoD

-Experience with writing and editing material and workforce messages

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to manage multiple competing tasks, prioritize as necessary, and deliver to a variety of stakeholders

-Ability to work in a team environment

-Active Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

- Experience in Army Human Resource organizations, including expertise in Army HR systems a plus
-Ability to work with senior government clients under tight deadlines

-Ability to gather information and synthesize it into presentable deliverables for the client

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including writing in a variety of formats

- BA or BS degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a communications-related field preferred
