The Administrative Assistant:
Provides administrative support to the School's staff, including the maintenance of confidential client records.
Sets up, maintains and edits electronic files for reports, calendars, correspondence, address lists, attendance sheets, mailing lists, etc.
Handles incoming telephone calls, transferring to appropriate staff members and voice mail boxes.
Works with outside agencies and LEAs to schedule meetings, provide documents or needed information or reports, or to troubleshoot concerns.
Maintains monthly quality assurance reports and submits these to the appropriate people or departments.
Coordinates all materials needed for IBP meetings, annual reviews, by ensuring necessary forms and information is complete and available.
Prepares Quarterly reports for input by school staff.
Prepares Quarterly reports to go home to parents.
Purchases office and food supplies for the School as authorized by the Director.
Refines and maintains a filing system for the School's correspondence and records on the students.
Coordinates and schedules appointments and meetings for the Director of the school.
Maintain appointments for the Director of the school. Prepares and packages meeting materials under the direction of the Director of the school.
Types, edits and proofs correspondence, memoranda, reports, appointment letters, contracts etc. Prepares and types routine correspondence at the request of the Director of the school.
Update Attendance Weekly in student files.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.

Qualified candidates will possess:
A High School diploma or GED and some higher education coursework required
Training in media collections is necessary.
Requires a minimum of one year experience in a business office environment.
Can type 60 word per minute
Has computer skills, especially with Microsoft.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8AM-4:30PM
