Freddie Mac's Costing and Credit Risk Transfer (CRT) group within the Single-Family Division is seeking a Pricing Analytics Professional to support a team responsible for supporting new and existing business initiatives/offerings, pricing, valuation, and credit risk transfer activities.

Your Work Falls into These Two Primary Categories:
Pricing Analysis & Research

  • Work with pricing, offerings, costing and CRT personnel to help identify the appropriate analyses to respond to questions, issues, or market developments at hand
  • Help research and summarize regulatory and market factors that drive customer and investor decisions to help us design products, pricing and programs that meet those needs.
  • Maintain existing costing tools, update them as necessary. Work with all the stakeholders to provide testing evidence and supporting model documentation.
  • In support of existing and proposed new offerings, transactions and pricing proposal, execute costing, analytical and reporting processes. Streamline and document where needed/appropriate
  • Partner with others to improve infrastructure for a reporting and analytics hub or repository for use by costing/CRT and others
  • Credit Analytics: Execute third party and proprietary tools to analyze economics and value of credit risk transfer structures. Provide analysis of structures, ideas and transactions.
  • Maintain and streamline key End User Computing systems
  • Projects as assigned by management: Candidate will need to support various ad hoc and on-going requests. This may include governance support, e.g. audit, development of procedures, records management, or other needs as identified by management


  • 2 plus year of relevant work experience
  • College degree in an area pertinent to the position, e.g., finance, accounting, math, statistics, economics, business or related.
  • Strong facility with spreadsheet software; familiarity with basic data management tools and/or statistical tools (e.g., SAS)

  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical and communication skills

  • Leadership potential - comfort reaching out to others and helping to lead tasks that require multiple parties on a project
