Responsibilities

The duties of this position include but not limited to the following:
  • Assist in the overall operation of a fitness facility
  • Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory
  • Provides information and general instruction (to include demonstration of) on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery
  • Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, activities and related functions
  • Performs facility cleanliness and minor maintenance on facility equipment
  • Monitors fitness equipment condition and tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate

Conditions of Employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
  • A one year probationary period may be required
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty
  • Incumbent must be able to work weekdays, nights, varying shifts including holidays

The qualifications of this position are:
  • Possess related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above

*** Highly preferred applicants will have 12 months customer service experience. This applicants that meet both the minimum qualifications and highly preferred criteria will be referred to the selecting officials first. All other applicants will be referred as needed.
