Job Summary:

We are seeking a Rave EDC study builder toprovide support for a government contract managed by Westat's Clinical Trials Practice. This individual will work with a team of database developers, programmers, and data managers for a project supporting a large stakeholder community. The position is located in our Rockville, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

· Apply Rave EDC subject matter expertise to identify innovative solutions for the stakeholder community.

· Perform Rave EDC development and maintenance tasks: building forms and edit specifications, validation testing, and completion of documentation.

· Ability to work with the integration team and custom function developers to change andmodify the Rave EDC screens for a smooth end user workflow.

· Ability to perform assigned tasks with little supervision.

· Lead teams or initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

· A bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline with 10+ years ofexperience working in clinical trials domain.

· 5 years' experience in building and maintaining clinical studies in Rave EDC.

· Experience with one or more of Rave Modules: Coder, Patient Cloud, Safety Gateway, RTSM,TSDV.

· Hands on experience with CDISC standards including CDASH or SDTM/ADaM.

· Medidata Rave Certified Study Builder designation (or in progress toward attainment).

Preferred Qualifications:

· Able to create adhoc reports form Rave EDC to be used for data review.

· Knowledge of FDA/ICH guidelines and industry standard practices.

· Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, applications and techniques.

· Knowledge of database concepts.

Candidates must possess excellent verbal andwritten communication skills as well as organization, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
