Lead Software Architect for Retail Services and Systems, Inc. dba Total Wine & More to work at our Bethesda, MD loc. Define, doc, +communicate right architecture for problem at hand. Coord work for delivering software targeted towards architectural changes + lead software dev team. Partner w/ leadership on future tech, architectural strategy, + roadmap. Dev estimates + plans to achievefuture state architectures. Advocate + lead efforts to enhance software + hardware platforms incl upgrades + refreshes to ensure supportability. Lead efforts + provide oversight w/ 3rd-party vendors for tech sols spanning diverse sys + tech. Advise + directdev of enterprise-level integration architectures. Manage relationships, sched activities w/ 3rd party vendors + service providers to ensure engagement goals met. Mentor devs on architectural standards + establish best practices. May undergo background checks incl drug screen. Must have Bach in Comp Sci, Tech, or rel field, and 7 yrs rel exp dev software. Also reqs 2 yrs exp with software architecture and the following skills (2 yrs exp) in: design patterns for software design; enterprise architectural patterns;integration technologies and architectural patterns incl: ETL, ELT, ESB, EDI, and message queues; cloud platform concepts incl: Containers, CI/CD, platform data stores, data lake, pub/sub, API management, and security models; T-SQL.
