Job Summary/Company:
The Sparks Group has partnered with a nationally recognized medical institution in order to assist them in hiring for a Staff Recruiter. This position will help support the organization's recruiting team in their company-wide hiring and recruitment functions. This role is based out of their corporate office located in Rockville, MD.   • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs in order to perform full life-cycle recruiting functions.
  • Assist the Sr. Recruiting Manager by coordinating recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
  • Provide information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Screen and refer qualified candidates to hiring managers for interviewing (while adhering to all work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements).
  • Source candidates through applicable job boards, job fairs, networking, and other creative resources.
  • Maintain the status of all position requisitions, while ensuring the accuracy of all candidate information in the ATS system.
  • Conduct reference and background checks by utilizing the appropriate software and resources.
  • Assist in conducting managerial training programs with an emphasis on improving recruiting/hiring efficiencies and reducing turnover.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Recruiting Manager to research, analyze, and prepare hiring metrics/KPIs.
  • Create and sustain a pipeline of qualified candidates, especially for hard to fill and regularly needed positions.
  • Assist in maintaining the company careers website, including updating all postings as needed.
  • Develop and uphold professional relationships with colleges and other technical placement offices in order to generate qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and maintain the employee referral program and internal transfer process.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare recruiting experience.
  • Experience using and maintaining recruiting systems and software, including an applicant tracking system/ATS (preferably ClearCompany), reference checking service (preferably SkillSurvey), and background checking database (preferably ShieldScreening).
  • Experience using an HRIS system, preferably Paylocity.
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.
  • Excellent organizational/multitasking skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to write and analyze reports and correspondence in an accurate, timely, and legible manner.
  • Capability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse population.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
  • Flexibility to travel, with a valid driver's license, as needed.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • A satisfactory background check inclusive of driving records, criminal records, employment references, education, social security and OIG exclusions.
