The Quality Informatics Manager applies clinical knowledge and analytical skills in support of an electronic medical record (EMR). As the clinical expert, this team member will play an integral role on the project team leading workflow transformation resulting in improved patient outcomes and enhanced efficiencies in clinical service delivery. This team member will play an integral role in the electronic implementation of the regulatory requirements.
The Quality Informatics Manager will be responsible for the management of the Care Excellence/Cerner training team as well as the collaboration with the entity Clinical Educators as it relates to Cerner.
The Quality Informatics Manager will be responsible for the management of Accreditation Readiness (education/training) as it relates to the Joint Commission and other Regulators
The Quality Informatics Manager will also be responsible for support guidance to various AHC entities/departments and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Master's Degree in related field preferred; Experience in lieu of a Master's Degree is required
Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
Minimum 5 years clinical experience (acute care preferred)
Lean or Six Sigma knowledge preferred: Green Belt/Black Belt
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality

This role has 4 major areas of responsibility:
*AHC Clinical Policy Management
*Accreditation Readiness Support
*CERNER (and non EMR) training content development
*System-wide CERNER access control
