Lead Payroll Administrator

Do you have working knowledge of Ultimate or UltiPro software?  Our client, a well-known Non-Profit organization near Metro Center in Washington, DC needs a Temp-to-Hire Lead Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll operations of a 700-800 employee bi-weekly payroll.  This person will also resolve payroll issues and problems, reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare and transmit taxes and reports, and manage monthly and quarterly reporting.    

Duties will include supervising one payroll coordinator, and managing the bi-weekly disbursement of payroll, including garnishments, vacations and other leave, benefits and taxes.  Will also be responsible for preparing and overseeing the preparation of payroll related documents, and reconciling account balances. 

Must have Ultimate or UltiPro software experience, along with terrific customer service and communication skills as there is a lot of interaction with employees when there are payroll issues to resolve.  Must also have a BS degree in accounting or equivalent years of experience as well as at least 4-7 years of experience processing payrolls.  At least 3 years of experience using HRIS systems is also needed and CPP certification is preferred.
