The MIL Corporation seeks a Program Manager with experience leading projects in internal controls, compliance, and auditing in order to support OMB A-123 compliance for a Federal Government client at our offices located in Washington, DC and Tysons Corner, VA

  • Communicate with the client to drive expectations and report on the status of ongoing projects.
  • Set priorities, ensure daily coordination among the project team, and monitor progress against schedules, budgets, project/task deliverables, and status reporting
  • Works with customer and corporate entities as appropriate to initiate financial transactions
  • Coordinate and supervise internal control assessments, risk assessments, entity-level control assessments and verification and validation (V&V) of corrective action plans.
  • Manage and provide timely updates for multiple workstreams affecting all aspects of the A-123 process.

Required Qualifications
  • 6-12 years of experience in internal controls, audit remediation, and/or audit.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams of 12 or more.
  • Excellent client-facing, and project management skills such as workflow balancing, activity scheduling, problem-solving facilitation, prioritizing multiple complex tasks, and meeting deadlines
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)

BA/BS in Accounting or Business Administration
