Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Financial Analyst with experience in financial /accounting operations to support OMB A-123 compliance for a Federal Government client at our offices located in Washington, DC and Tysons Corner, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure internal controls are appropriate for accurate and efficient transaction processing.
  • Refresh the internal control framework based on the assessment of risk.
  • Recommend, monitor, and enforce financial policies and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Ensure accounting compliance under GAAP, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of audit, risk, compliance, governance, and internal control experience.
  • Experience in federal financial/accounting operations.
  • Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and techniques of accounting, finance, contract, and business processes.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Education
BA/BS degree in Accounting or related fields

Clearance
