Job Summary/Company:

Are you an emerging HR professional looking for growth? Enjoy investigative research to solve complex business problems? This may be the role for you! Sparks Group has partnered with a local restaurant management company to identify a junior level HR professional to grow with their company.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to monitor compliance with labor and immigration laws
  • Oversee new hire recruitment and onboard process offering to support to store level management
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR Analytics
  • Develop moderately complex policies and procedures
  • Champion employee recognition and engagement events
  • Develop and implement staffing and retention initiatives
  • Provide policy/technical guidance to leadership regarding unemployment and claims
  • Prepare reports and communications for senior management
  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures are aligned with company goals and objectives

Qualifications/Background profile:
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM systems
  • 1-3 years experience in a HR capacity
