Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks an Test Automation Engineer to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston, SC location. As a member of the Systems Development and Maintenance team, the Automated Testing Engineer will be responsible for assisting the functional testing groups in the creation, maintenance and execution of testing scripts for the accounting and compensation systems.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute test scripts to support the functional test groups
• Support development of other testing reporting systems using HTML and SQL queries

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Accounting or a related field such as Business Administration; candidates who possess a degree other than the three listed will require at least 1 year experience in testing or supporting accounting systems
• Experience with automated software testing tools, including HP Unified Functional Test
• Experience with developing software test cases, automated tests scripts, and test data
• Experience with ad-hoc manual software testing
• Knowledge of software test methodologies and best practices
• Expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Desired Qualifications
• 1 year of experience in software testing or supporting accounting systems
• Knowledge of Federal accounting/financial management policies, practices, operations, and procedures
• Experience with CGI Federal's Momentum accounting package and/or with PeopleSoft applications
• Experience with coding in VB script and Powershell and strong knowledge of SQL
• Experience with HTML, CSS and web development
